In the bustling City of Santa Clara, Thamien Park stands out as one of its thirty-one municipal parks. Situated between Lick Mill Boulevard and Guadalupe Creek Trail, this charming park boasts a basketball court, playground, and tennis court. It also features a pathway that connects residents to the VTA Light Rail System.

During the winter months, the area’s temperatures are usually mild, making it an excellent place to go for outdoor activities. The Guadalupe River runs along the eastern edge of the park, and the lake provides plenty of fishing opportunities. The park’s small size also means it has a limited number of parking spaces.

The park has a playground and picnic areas. In addition, there is a small dog park. The playground at the small park has multiple climbing structures and baby swings. The park also offers a splash pad. A restroom facility is also available.

The area around Thamien Park is mostly residential, with houses without backyards. The park has a limited number of parking spaces, but ample street parking is available on nearby streets. The park is open 6 am to sunset.

The Mission Santa Clara de Asis is the fifth of five missions in the City of Santa Clara. The original site of the mission is located near the park. The park features a reflecting pool, a multi-use area, a basketball court, a soccer field, and picnic tables. The park has a gazebo, a jogging path, and a trail.

The park has two playgrounds. Children ages two to five can enjoy the play area. There is also an exercise course for adults. The park is surrounded by a variety of trees that provide plenty of shade. The park is also close to the Westside Little League.

The Skate Park is a public park that is available to both residents and visitors of the Santa Clara area. It features two basketball courts, a volleyball court, and open space. The skate park also includes restrooms.

The Agnews State Hospital Park offers a magnificent 14.5 acre landscape with its four historic buildings, stunning trees, benches and multiple recreational activities including playgrounds, volleyball courts and designated picnic spots – making it the perfect destination for children and adults alike!
